PC prices dip further in Europe. Polycarbonate (PC) prices in Europe continue to experience a downward trend, according to GC Intelligence market analysis.
Price are showing no signs of recovery even after the September holidays.
Despite the slackened demand, sellers are aggressively seeking to increase their market share by offering competitive prices. This move has temporarily eased pressure from imports.
However, this strategy hasn’t prevented further price deteriorations. The majority of transactions are now registering considerably below the €2000/MT mark.
However, with rising benzene costs, driven partly by increased crude oil prices, it is speculated that the PC prices are nearing their lowest limit, potentially signalling a stabilization in the near future.
