Eurozone and EU industrial output experienced a slight rebound in April 2023, indicating a positive trend compared to the previous month, according to Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
In April 2023, the Euro area and EU industrial production showed a 1.0% increase and a 0.7% increase, respectively, compared to March 2023.
It is worth noting that both regions had witnessed a decline in industrial production in March 2023. The Eurozone saw a decrease of 3.8%, while the EU experienced a decrease of 3.2%. However, the subsequent month’s data reflects a positive shift, indicating a potential recovery.
Furthermore, when comparing April 2023 to April 2022, there was a modest growth of 0.2% in Eurozone industrial output and 0.1% in EU industrial output. These figures indicate a slow but steady recovery in the industrial sector, considering the year-over-year data.
