EU industrial production declines, according to estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
The data shows industrial production experienced a decline in March 2023 compared to the previous month and the same period in the previous year.
In March 2023, seasonally adjusted industrial production decreased by 4.1% in the euro area and by 3.6% in the EU, when compared to February 2023.
This decline follows a positive growth of 1.5% in the euro area and 1.4% in the EU during February 2023.
Furthermore, in March 2023 compared to March 2022, industrial production decreased by 1.4% in the euro area and by 1.3% in the EU.
