REPSOL to boost e-mobility in taxi sector. Repsol and FREENOW signed a strategic agreement in Spain to accelerate the transition to electric mobility in the taxi sector.
Repsol will become the approved energy supplier for FREENOW drivers with a recharging service guaranteeing 100% renewable electricity.
Under the agreement, FREENOW drivers will receive significant discounts on any of Repsol’s 1,200 public recharging points in Spain. These are mostly located at service stations.
This collaboration aims to decarbonize the taxi sector, achieve zero net carbon emissions by 2030, and make cities better places to live in.
