
European GDP remains stable. Eurostat has published its latest report on the GDP and employment for the fourth quarter of 2022.
According to the report, the GDP of the euro area remained unchanged during the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter. However, the EU saw a small decline of 0.1% during the same period.
The report also stated that employment increased by 0.3% in both the euro area and the EU in the fourth quarter of 2022. This represents a continuation of a positive trend seen in the previous quarter.
In the third quarter of 2022, both the euro area and the EU witnessed a GDP growth of 0.4%.
