EU Industrial production increases in October 2021 compared to October 2020 by 3.6 percent.
The latest press release from Eurostat showed that industrial production also increased in the euro area by 3.3 percent.
A positive reading also appeared for the period of September to October. The numbers showed a 1.2 percent increase for the EU and a 1.1 percent increase for the euro area.
For the same period, production of durable consumer goods increased compared to last year, 2.6 percent in the EU and 2.3 percent in the euro area.
