The company is on track to begin production of ADN in China in 2022.
INVISTA advances its ADN project in China, according to a recent press release from the company.
The company has recently receives final permit in China to allow completion of the construction of its adiponitrile (ADN) plant.
The project located in Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP) will help to satisfy local demand, according to the note.
Furthermore, the company said the 400,000 mt/year ADN plant will integrate with its existing HMD facilities.

ADN is a vital feedstock in the production of nylon 66 (PA66). Some of the applications of PA66 include fibers and plastic components in cars.
