LONDON (GC Intelligence) — Trinseo, a global manufacturer of plastics, latex and rubber, announced price increases in February for its polycarbonate (PC).
The note on its website (www.trinseo.com) stated that effective from 01 February 2020, or as contracts allow, prices of its CALIBRE PC resins will increase by €150/mt.
PC has a high impact resistance and transparency. And it is used in applications such as eye protection glasses, bullet-proof glass, data storage, such as DVDs and CDs, dome lights, and sound walls.
