LONDON (GC Intelligence) – Celanese Corporation, a chemical and specialty materials company with headquarters in Irving, Texas, United States, announced price increases on its polyoxymethylene (POM) grades in Europe.
The note on the company’s website said that effective from 1 February 2020 its Amcel and MFI series (POM) grades sold in Europe will increase by €100/mt.
POM finds its uses in many sectors, including automotive, medical and construction, for applications such as gears, housing parts, pump parts and door lock systems.
