LONDON (GC Intelligence) – Celanese announced that it will increase polyoxymethylene (POM) prices in November, according to a recent company press release.
The global supplier of engineering materials said that prices will increase of it branded and non-branded POM, effective from 1 November 2019, by €50/mt.
Celanese is based in the United States, Dallas, and it has approximately 7,700 employees worldwide and had 2018 net sales of $7.2 billion.
POM is used in many industries, including the automotive and industrial sectors, in applications such as gears, pump parts and housing parts.
